Behavioral Health Hotline Provider Training

Course Description:

This curriculum will provide information and instructions for individuals who are working with persons in a behavioral health crisis situation. The curriculum was developed for crisis hotline workers but is applicable to any individual who may be in a situation of receiving a call from someone in a crisis.  


Learning Objectives:

  1. New crisis line staff understand levels of crises and can effectively manage callers in crisis
  2. New crisis line staff will be able to link callers to appropriate levels of care
  3. Crisis line supervisors will be able to effectively manage the development of new crisis line staff
