Behavioral Health Hotline Provider Training
Course Description:
This curriculum will provide information and instructions for individuals who are working with persons in a behavioral health crisis situation. The curriculum was developed for crisis hotline workers but is applicable to any individual who may be in a situation of receiving a call from someone in a crisis.
Learning Objectives:
- New crisis line staff understand levels of crises and can effectively manage callers in crisis
- New crisis line staff will be able to link callers to appropriate levels of care
- Crisis line supervisors will be able to effectively manage the development of new crisis line staff
