Course Description:
This is a one-hour training focused on the role of friends and families in the recovery process of those involved in 1st episode psychosis program.
Training Objectives:
- Understand the importance of aligning goals and expectations among individuals and their family members and friends.
- Gain a basic understanding of relapse prevention, communication strategies, and problem-solving skills that are useful when working with individuals and their friends and families.
- Recognize the challenges and approaches to working with individuals, their friends, and families presented in an individual’s recovery story.
