Why is the name on my certificate incorrect?

Your certificate is generated upon completion of the survey, and is directly connected to your user profile. Please make sure the information in your profile is correct before taking courses. This includes names in the right fields. First name, Surname (Last Name). Also make sure your email is current.

How do I receive a certificate for my course completion?
|
| A:
|
In order to receive a certificate of completion, the course survey must be completed. You must complete the readings, activities, and quizzes before you take the survey. Once these requirements are completed, your certificate will be emailed to you automatically. It is very important for you to check your email to ensure receipt - including your spam or junk folders. Completed certificates can also be viewed, downloaded, or printed from your "My EBA" page. Just click on course -- then certificate.

How much do the courses on eBasedAcademy cost?

All courses offered on eBasedAcademy are completely FREE to Ohio professionals. For professionals outside of Ohio, please contact the administrator at ebasedacademy@gmail.com

How do I enroll in a course?
|

All courses are listed on the homepage of the site. You can also access the Course Catalog by clicking on "All Courses" at the bottom of the course list. This will let you access a link to course descriptions and guest access. To enroll in a course, click on the course title you are interested in taking. A box will pop-up asking if you wish to register for the course. Click OK and you will be directed to the appropriate course.

How can I be sure RCHs and CEUs are accepted by my profession?

eBasedAcademy.org is funded by the state of Ohio and all the courses that are offered by ebasedacademy.org are taught by licensed professionals. Courses in each discipline have been submitted to the appropriate boards for accreditation. If there is any doubt, the outline and faculty information can be printed off and submitted.

Why can’t I access the homepage once I am logged in?

When you are Logged-in, your homepage will be changed to your personal My EBA account.This is considered your "dashboard." From here you can see all the courses you have taken.

How do I check the status of my course certificate?
|

Upon log-in your homepage will become your “My EBA." You can click on any course to check the status of your activity, including your grades and your certificate. Once in the course, just click on the certificate to view, download, or print it. Your "My EBA" page is a log of your activity since September, 2010.

How many times can I re-take a course if I do not pass?

You can take a course up to two times per quarter. If you do not pass, you will need to enroll again during another quarter.

Why are some words misspelled, like "Enrol"

The eBasedAcademy is built on a platform called Moodle, which began in Australia. Some words use alternative spellings that are native to Australia.
