EbasedAcademy.org is not currently in session. Course registration for the Fall Session will begin at 8:30 am on September 26th. To view a Course List, please click here.

Session dates for 2008-2009 are as follows: June 27-August 8; September 26-November 7; December 19-January 30; March 13-April 24; and May 15-June 26.

All Courses offered on eBasedAcademy are completely FREE to Ohio Professionals! eBasedAcademy is coordinated by the Ohio Resource Network and funded by the Ohio Department of Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services (ODADAS).

All courses require an overall 70% passing rate. Course instructors review all course criteria and the course surveys and upon succeessful completion, the course certificate is emailed. Please allow up to one week to receive the course certificate.

   FREE CREDIT HOURS!!
   All courses on eBasedAcademy are FREE to Ohio professionals. The
   courses are available to out-of-state professionals for a cost of $10 per
   hour and $5 per half hour.

eBasedAcademy is an official CHES (Category I) provider.
CECH hours are free for Ohio professionals and cost $10 per hour and $5

per half hour for out-of-state professionals. The Ohio Resource Network is

a licensed provider (#MEP2564) of CECH hours through The National

Commission for Health Education Credentialing Inc. The Certified Health

Education Specialist (CHES) designation signifies that an individual has

met eligibility requirements for, and has successfully passed a

competency-based examination demonstrating skill and knowledge of the

Seven Areas of Responsibility of Health Educators upon which the

credential is based.

Prevention/Treatment RCHs Available

The Ohio Resource Network coordinates and maintains www.ebasedacademy.org. The Ohio Resource Network is a licensed provider (02-0708-11PVN) of prevention and treatment credits through the Ohio Chemical Dependency Professionals Board. Social Work CEU's and Counselor CPE's Available

The Ohio Resource Network for Safe and Drug Free Schools and Communities coordinates and maintains www.ebasedacademy.org. The Ohio Resource Network is a licensed provider of social work (#RSX020401) and counselor (#RCX090701) credits through the Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapist Board of Ohio. Please note the Board will accept fifteen hours of homestudy/online coursework per each license renewal period.

Education Contact Hours Available

eBasedAcademy is a provider of education credits. If you are interested

in obtaining contact hour credit, you must work with your Local Professional Development Committee prior to participation in eBasedAcademy courses. Decisions regarding the awarding of contact hours are the sole responsibility of your local LPDC.
